The male taper is a tool specifically designed for threading and fishing from the inner holes of dropped objects with holes, such as drill pipes and oil pipes. It has a high success rate in fishing for dropped pipe – like objects with couplings. The male taper can be used in combination with right – hand and left – hand threaded drill pipes and other tools for different fishing techniques. The male taper is turned from forged high – strength alloy steel materials and made through heat treatment. In order to facilitate threading, cutting grooves are made on the male taper.
